LORD Center-Bonded Bushings and Square-Bonded Bushings are designed for situations where it's important to absorb shocks, reduce noise, minimize wear, and eliminate the need for lubrication.
Center-Bonded Bushings are made to handle loads from the side and allow for some rotation thanks to a soft spring design. They keep parts aligned well but are not suitable for applications with a lot of twisting motion. You’ll often find these bushings in heavy-duty highway equipment, drilling machines, harvesters, combines, and various types of industrial machinery.
Square-Bonded Bushings are built to handle angular movements and reduce vibrations in heavy equipment. They combine a spring with a flexible pivot and isolator, ensuring stable positioning and movement even in tough conditions. Common uses include wheel suspensions, vibratory feeders, mobile power equipment, and vibratory cable layers.
Both types of bushings are easy to install and have simple designs that make them cost-effective. Their durable materials and strong bonding ensure they last a long time.
